Major Changes:
- New credit screens, and sequencing to match the Star Wars original intros. (But still no crawl).
- Re-edited intro to feel more like a classic samurai movie while also feeling like a Star Wars movie. I also cut some of the fight to keep some level of intensity up, removing some of the platform jumping. I removed the scream, making it silent as to vibe better with his japanese voice coming soon after. I also cut a bit of the Yoda scene to get to the point, hopefully relating Qui-Gon's Death to the reason for taking on Anakin as an apprentice more clear.
Editing Intent:
The Blackened Mantle is by far my favorite way to watch the prequels. But as much as I love "The Blackened Mantle", the intro to me is a little jarring compared to the rest of all the Star Wars movies - the shots of Darth Maul intercut with the normal Star Wars title screens, the scream by Obi-Wan just before a different voice is used in Japanese, even the fact that "Nooooo..." isn't really what they would say in Japanese.
Just for my personal collection, I re-edited the intro, and regraded it to feel more like a classic samurai movie while also feeling like a Star Wars movie.
